Local Sports 3/13/24

Boise State women's basketball nearly completed another comeback at the MW Tournament, but ultimately fell to San Diego State, 72-69, Tuesday night at the Thomas & Mack Center. Boise State will wait to see if it receives a postseason bid. Postseason tournament selections will be unveiled on Sunday, March 17. 

The Idaho State Bengals lost to Montana last night, 72 to 58 in the Big Sky Tournament.  This after upsetting the number 2 seed Northern Colorado. 

From the baseball diamonds in high school play Twin Falls shutout Idaho Falls 22 to 0 and Declo said no to firth 11 to1. 

On the sports schedule for today first for High school baseball, Thunder Ridge will travel to Jerome, Gooding goes to Buhl, Lighthouse Christian travels to Vision Charter.

For softball games, Gooding boards the bus to Declo, Wendell travels to New Plymouth, Lighthouse Christian and Vision Charter will play ball at Gals Field in Caldwell.  Jerome goes to Twin Falls.
