Local Sports 4/12/24

From the local baseball diamonds for high school games yesterday, Twin Falls Downed Canyon Ridge 4 to 2.  In a Double Header, Filer took the win in their first game against Buhl  10 to 9 and then it was a tie in the second 4 to 4.  Jerome Defeated Mountain Home 5 to 2. 

From the Glenns Ferry Wood Bat Tournament, Declo downed Lighthouse Christian 8 to 3.  Nampa outlasted Wendell 3 to 0.  Then Nampa Christian defeated Glenns Ferry 12 to 2. 

In Softball games, Gooding defeated Buhl in the first game of a double header 5 to 3.  In the Second Buhl turned it around with a score of 11 to 7. 

On today’s baseball schedule for area high schools, the Glenns Ferry Wood Bat Tournament continues with teams from Malad, Gooding, Glenns Ferry, Lighthouse Christian, Declo, Soda Springs, Challis Mackay, Wilder and Wendell will Participate. Pocatello travels to Minico, Burley goes to Wood River, Mountain Home travels to Jerome, Homedale goes to Kimberly, Twin Falls will go cross town to play Canyon  Ridge.  Tomorrow, Kimberly is on the bus to South Fremont.

As for Softball, Kimberly heads to Declo, Minico to Gooding, Jerome to Mountain Home, Twin Falls and Canyon Ridge will meet up.  Tomorrow Blackfoot travels to Jerome, West Side Visits Glenns Ferry
