A Boise State football team member will make another appearance in the Pro Bowl as Demarcus Lawrence was added to the list of participants in the 2024 Pro Bowl Games in

Orlando.  The National Football League said yesterday that Lawrence, a defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys, has been added to the NFC roster.


The Bengals men's basketball team will wrap up their four-game road trip this week as they travel to Northern Colorado on Thursday, February 1st and Northern Arizona on Saturday, February 3rd. The Bengals split their season series with Northern Colorado last year, and have not won in Greeley since the 2020-21 season. Idaho State is 3-2 against UNC in their last five matchups. Idaho State was able to take the season series 2-0 against NAU last year, winning their last seven in a row when in Flagstaff and have an 11-3 record against the Lumberjacks in their last 14 meetings.


From the scoreboard on the high school level from yesterday, first for the boys, Aberdeen downed Declo 44 to 31.  It was Wood River 78 to Burley 60.  Filer outlasted Buhl 61 to 48 and it was Gooding 70 to Wendell 68.  Pocatello outlasted Minico 68 to 51 and Canyon Ridge for the win over Twin Falls 48 to 47. 


For the girls, Murtaugh for the win over Hansen 54 to 40 in district tournament action.  Murtaugh Advances to the next round and will host Valley tomorrow in the semifinals. Tip-off set for 7:30.  Valley Advances to the next round and will take on the Red Devils in Murtaugh. Tip-off set for 7:30.  Carey will host Hansen in a loser-out game on February 1st at 6:00.  HansenWill travel and take on Carey in a loser-out game on February 1st at 6:00

Elsewhere Raft River defeated Glenns Ferry 61 to 34.  Raft River: Advances to the next round and will travel to play against Oakley on February 1st in the semi-finals. Tipoff set for 7:30  Glenns Ferry plays in a loser-out game when they host Shoshone tomorrow. Tipoff set for 6:00.

 

 Oakley for the win over Shoshone 44 to 34.  Oakley Advances to the next round and will host Raft River tomorrow in the semi-finals. Tip-off set for 7:30. Shoshone: Will play in a loser-out game when they travel to Glenns Ferry tomorrow. Tip-off is set for 6:00.

Richfield for the win over Hagerman 51 to 25.  Richfield: Advances to the next round to take on Dietrich. The game is set at Gooding High School tomorrow. Tip-off is set for 7:00.  Hagerman will play in a loser-out game on February 6th. They will play the loser of Dietrich/Richfield.


On today’s schedule for the boys Richfield travels to North Gem.  Bliss goes to the Sun Valley Community School.  Butte to Camas County and Murtaugh to Castleford.  Valley visits Glenns Ferry while Dietrich goes to Hagerman.  Lighthouse Christian travels to Oakley and Raft River will host Hansen.  Carey goes to Shoshone.
