The 21st-ranked College of Southern Idaho struggled to stop a hot-shooting Northeastern Men's Basketball Team, losing 81-73 Saturday in the Rob Green Classic. Northeastern shot a blistering 51 percent from the field, 53 percent from long range and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line.

On the flip side, the Golden Eagles managed just 12.5 percent from beyond the 3-point line. The Golden Eagles, now 7-4, travel to Iowa.

Meanwhile, the eighth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team jumped out to a 31-12 lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 85-68 win Saturday in the Rob Green Classic.


Ashton Jeanty continued to record history and the Boise State defense slowed down a talented Air Force offense in a 27-19 win in front of 36,390 fans at Albertsons Stadium Friday afternoon.


After finishing the season in a three-way tie for first place in the Mountain West standings alongside San Jose State and UNLV, Boise State will advance to the MW Championship Game at UNLV. The Broncos and Rebels will kick off on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The game will air nationally on FOX.


Over the extended weekend, The Boise State men’s basketball team fell to the Butler Bulldogs, 70-56, in the final game of the ESPN Events Invitational Tournament in Orlando, Florida. Friday the Bronco’s downed the VCU rams 65 to 61.


Idaho Vandals took the win over the UC San iego Tritons 64 to 62.


For the Lady’s Idaho State Bengals defeated Air Force 55 to 52. Boise State on Saturday downed Rutgers 68 to 65.


On the local high school schedule for today, for the boys, Glenns Ferry will host Wilder. The girls of Hagerman will welcome Rimrock.
