Mountain West Conference favorites begin their journey toward a hopeful in Southern California. Boise State visits San Diego State for a late night game Friday at Snapdragon Stadium. The Broncos are coming off their first win of the season after shutting down an explosive North Dakota offense despite some offensive mishaps throughout. On the other side, the Aztecs are looking to end a two-game skid after wins over Ohio and Idaho State to start the season. Friday's contest is scheduled to kick off at 8:30 p.m on the CBS Sports Network. It's the ninth meeting between Boise State and San Diego State, who have each claimed four wins across the series' eight-game history. This is the first time the two programs will open Mountain West play against one another.

To the scoreboards, first for boys soccer where Burley defeated Minico 2 to 0. Canyon Ridge said no to Mountain Home 2 to 1.

For the Girls, Burley outlasted Minico 4 to 0 and Mountain Home defeated Canyon Ridge 1 to 0.

On today’s high school sports schedule, first for Boys soccer, Kimberly travels to Buhl, Gooding goes to Declo, Bliss to Filer, and the sun Valley Community School travels to Wendell.

For the girls , Gooding goes to Declo, Kimberly to Buhl, Bliss to Filer, The Sun Valley community School to Wendell.

For Volleyball, Canyon Ridge heads to Jerome, Raft River to Glenns Ferry, Castleford to Hansen, Buhl to Filer and Minico to Mountain Home. Twin Falls goes to Wood River, Wendell to Declo, Murtaugh plays Gace, Dietrich travels to Hagerman and Camas County heads to Richfield. Lighthouse Christian is on the bus to the Sun Valley Community School.
